An interesting concept...

Perhaps you should put "I Repair Computers" or "Computer Repair" or "Computer Service"... something like that.

If you get the parts, you charge for the parts (obviously) plus a little more for your time and then an hourly rate for the time you spend building the computer. If they supply the parts, then you charge the hourly rate. Many technicians charge between $50 to $75 per hour for their services.

Judging by your writing, I'd say that you are a young person who is trying to get a job working with computers. You apparently have no idea what computer repair is about or worth. Have you tried calling local repair shops and ask for quotes, just to see what other people charge?

My suggestion is to go to school (maybe a vocational school) and get some formal training as a computer technician before you go into business for yourself. After that, try to get a job somewhere where you can work with computers under a supervisor. Then branch out on your own.

Reformatting a computer isn't a complicated job, but it's possibly the last thing that you should be considering as a service technician. As a business person, the last thing you want to do is permanently screw up your customers files. A real technician would do everything possible to avoid that option.

Reasonable rates.
