Yes! In Illinois, another place where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.

I never heard of it, but this is what I found out. A Prairie Home Companion is a live radio variety show created and hosted by Garrison Keillor. The show runs on Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m. Central Time, and usually originates from the Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul, Minnesota, although it is frequently taken on the road. A Prairie Home Companion is known for its musical guests, especially folk and traditional musicians, tongue-in-cheek radio drama, and Keillor's storytelling segment, "News from Lake Wobegon". It is produced by Prairie Home Productions and distributed by American Public Media, and is most often heard on public radio stations in the United States. The show has a long history, existing in a similar form as far back as 1974, and borrowing the name from a radio program in existence in 1969. It was named after the Prairie Home Cemetery in Moorhead, Minnesota, next to Concordia College.[1] The radio program inspired a 2006 film of the same name, directed by Robert Altman and featuring Keillor, Lily Tomlin, Meryl Streep, Lindsay Lohan, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Kline, John C. Reilly, and Woody Harrelson. Sounds pretty interesting, thanks for the heads-up

Off and on. They have good audio quality, but Garrison Keillor could have a bit more emotion in his voice than he does. Not the best VO I've heard. While watching one of the live productions on TV, I was a bit surprised as to the mics they were using too, kind of shoddy for a national program.

I live in CT, but I'm originally from TN.

I used to listen in Fla.
I just moved here to Washington State, and haven't heard it yet here.
The movie a little disappointing, but I liked it all the same.

Yes I've heard it, it's a talk station here in New Jersey, there's a couple of shows on that station that I like, they have interesting interviews, they review books, have the puzzler guy, he's an expert on crossword puzzles, he's on twice on Sunday mornings, and the car guys on Saturdays.
