I think the Mustang would be better because its a muscle car,not to mention the work and money involved in fabricating the grand am.

There is no 400 'big block'. All Pontiac blocks are the same size. From 326 to 455, same block size.

That aside, and depsite the fact that i am a Pontiac guy from wayyyyy back; i would rather have the Rustang. It is a cooler car than the Grand Am.

You didn't say what year grand am. So I'll guess it's older. THAT being said. It really doesn't matter. Cubes are to close to make any type of comparison. Both are good. BUT, style points for the mustang.

Definitely the pontiac...just because it's a Pontiac.

Sadly enough, however, the Mustand is probably quicker because of the power to weight ratio.

If its a newer grand am that somebodys put that 400 in, it'll eat that mustang for lunch and come back for more. converting a front wheel drive to rear wheel and then big blocking it is the best idea anybodys ever had for those things.

pontiac all the way.
lat me sum up my opinion this way, and i will try to keep it clean

f.ing oakies realy digem
fix or repair daily
found on road dead
driver returns on foot (ford backwards, how they were built)
first on race day ( into the pit for a repair,)
