Well my eyebrows have a good shape it's just that the hairs are long and I'm not sure how to trim them to make them shorter - not change the shape

You can buy a trimmer. It's like an electric shaver only smaller and comes with an attachment for trimming your eyebrows and stuff. I have one made by Conair. It cost about $10 at walmart. And DO NOT use scissors! It's dangerous!!!!

you can take a very fine tooth comb ( the teeth very close together on the comb) place the comb IN your brows (with the teeth toward the ceiling), then take a hair trimmer ( like a man's neck trimmer) and slide over the comb, this will trim off the long hairs. BEST IF SOME HELPS YOU !

brush them straight up with an eyebrow brush and cut any stray hairs

tweeze out the long ones , if you trim them, it leaves a blunt end and they look to thick.
