My friend wants her ears pierced, she's 14, but her parents won't let her. She already makes straight A's and stuff so what should she do?

Maybe she should make a deal with her parents. If she can wear fake earrings for a long while and that might convince her parents that getting her ears pierced would look very nice and mature. They could also be hiding it as a secret that she would be getting them for her birthday or Christmas. Or maybe she should sit down with her parents and tell them that she desperately wants her ears pierced because it would mean that she's grown up, mature and can take care of herself. When I told my Mum I wanted my ears pierced she said no and when it came around to my birthday she took me to the chemist and I got my ears pierced! But if the parents are really set on saying no, then I guess there isn't much you could do about it. Try the talking to the parents first, then the fake earrings and if not, wait until her birthday or Xmas. If it doesn't happen then I guess there's nothing else you can do

Tell her to tell her parents that the piercings are something she's interested in. That she gets good grades and that the piercings won't harm her grades or anything. This is just something she really wants and wants to decorate her body with.

Have her talk to her grandmother and have the grandmother give her a nice pair of pierced earrings for her birthday. But tell grandma to keep the receipt just in case.
