If my parents could have seen 20yrs into their
future after being married they would have known
that they still had another 35yrs of marriage left.
They were married for 55yrs until one
passed away first.

My parents have been married for 31 years and are the most blissfully happy couple that I've ever seen. They probably would've gotten married to each other SOONER if they could've seen 20 years into the future.

If any of of could see the future 20 years after we did anything would we have done the same thing? It is probably good that we can't look into the future.

yes... been married 20 years... got married at 18. We have 3 great children . There have been many bad times as well as good . As it will be with any direction you choose.

If they could have seen 20 years into the future, they would have known they would both be dead. Maybe dad wouldn't have gone to work the day he was killed and maybe mum would have seen a better doctor sooner to detect her cancer. I wish it was that easy,
As for me...We have been together 10 years and are on the verge of divorce today...so will tell you in another 10 years what happened!

Diffently not... And after 30yrs to the day they married my Mom ask for a divorce. Sad but true.
