For those of you who don't know what we are talking about; a drone is playing the same note continuously with the use of circular breathing through a harmonica that has the same note in blow and draw. I can't do it, so don't be disappointed if my citation doesn't do the trick for you. Pat Missin does drones remarkably well. The audio example below gives you an example. I love it. Hope you enjoy it also.

What I'd suggest you do is grab a book on the subject, preferably one with a CS and just take a day to jam about it. Once you start getting the hang of it you can go to Harptabs.com and practice some songs. When you play songs you are familiar with, and with the aid of a book/Cd you'll start picking up the basics and have it down by the end of the day. You'll have the skills down and then it's just working on getting everything to sound exactly the way you want.

Tell everyone in the room to leave so you won't be interrupted by their laughter.
