I asked this question before but it was removed for some reason and I didn't get an answer. Does anyone know a simple formula for converting celsius to farenheight?

My chem prof. said if you just remember this simple formula, then you can find both F and C if you know your algebra. It's the simplest one that there is. F = 1.8C + 32

Make a graph

First water boils @ 212 F
Water Freezes @ 32 F
so mark those to spots on a graph and draw a line

Water boils @ 100 C
Freezes @ 0
then all you got to do is look at the temperature for example you will see if you look at 32 f will line up with 0 c

(Your celsius) * 9 / 5 +32=(fairenheight)

or on a calculator (Your celsius) times 9 divided by 5 plus 32.

The formulas I like are
C = (F+40)*5/9 - 40
F = (C+40)*9/5 - 40

The only difference is whether you multiply by 5/9 or 9/5. So, you really only have to remember one equation. The symmetry of these equations results from the fact that
-40F = -40C

The way to calculate it roughly in your head is to double the C figure, minus 10% (rounded) then add 32.

So 20C = 20 +20 = 40. 40-4 = 36. 36 + 32 = 68F.

That's a quick way to get a rough estimate. Obviously it's not accurate to any decimal places!

To find Fahrenheit from Celsius °F = (°C × 1.8) + 32

To find Celsius from Fahrenheit °C = (°F − 32) /1.8

approximately for obtain C from F you remove 32 and then divide in 2.

temperature (celsius) = (5/9)*(temperature(fahrenheit)-32)

That's the equation. It doesn't get simplier.
