Gorgeous I think. We call a nice song beautiful, or a silky dress beautiful, but to be gorgeous implies something about just beautiful.

Beautiful - I think beautiful describes more than looks. A beautiful person can be so in many ways. I guess when I think of gorgeous, I think just looks.

For some reason I think beautiful. OK, I remember, because i use to have a friend that was a guy, still my friend as a matter of fact, that always said "hello, gorgeous." Guess that ruined it for me.

Beautiful! ...because at the base of beautiful is "beauty"... but at the base of gorgeous is "gorge". It's like calling someone fat!
