Are you married to a twelve year old??? You are married adults - what belongs to him, belongs to you also, so I'm not quite getting how he can "take" a vehicle from you. Do you not have your own car keys? Does he hide your truck?? Honey, you don't need a "signed piece of paper," you need marital counseling.

OH Man! This guy is really controlling! He has no right to take things from you, you are in a marriage and everything should be equal. In the real world that's how it should be. I know that its not. I was married to a man just like that. And guess what, I am divorced now! Do you work? Get things together for yourself and figure out a plan and leave. IF not then just put up with it until years go by and you feel like you have waisted your time...It's really your call.

He wont sign cause he likes playing these immature games. He feels as though he has a certain amount of control over you and he enjoys that control. Talk to your husband about his behavior and let him know it is not to be permitted anymore. Something you can do for self is to start taking back control of your life by getting a job and don't ask your husband to buy you a car, you buy it yourself. Start putting away some of that money for a rainy day cause your new found freedom may send your control freak husband packing.

You shouldn't let your husband control your life or your assets. This might sound a little over board, but I think that you should open your own bank account and set asside about 100 dollars a week so if anything ever happens you'll have the extra money. Your relationship sounds like more of a father daughter one rather than an equal partnership. You should have a honest conversation with your husband and tell him that it bothers you when he takes away your things as if you were a child.

I think that sounds absolutely pathetic on his part. I think that he should sign something like that if he is always doing stuff like that to you. He shouldn't have a right to take anything away from you! He is your husband not your father. It sounds like he needs to grow up. I'm wishing you the best!!

If you really thought it was going to work out, then the paper would be a moot point.
Obviously, neither of you have faith in the longevity of the relationship. So what's the point of reconciling?

You both need to go into relationship therapy and work out the problems in your relationship. Clearly he has control issues that need to be sorted out. Do you think that he would go along with it?

FIRST OF ALL...HMMMM....GET THE CAR AND THEN, RIGHT AFTER, GET YOUR BELONGINGS AND LEAVE HIM WITH THE CAR. HE IS A CONTROLING BASTARD AND U NEED TO GET RID OF HIM. THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAN EVERYTHING BELONGS TO U BOTH, REGARDLESS. THATS MARRIAGE. ITS A CIVIL MATTER THAT ONLY A JUDGE CAN DECIDE. AND I AM PRETTY SURE THERE IS A WAY THAT U CAN GO DOWN TO THE COURT HOUSE AND GET THAT CAR IN YOUR NAME ONLY. JUST ASK.
