The Ferrari from Magnum P.I. is a 308 GTS, if I'm not mistaken. Interesting cars, and not that expensive right now. Have an 83 308 GTSi Quattrovalve (the fuel injected, four-valve engine) in the garage and they're going rather cheap right now--$30 to $55k will get you a good one.
One I definitely lust after is the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano...but at $350k, the odds that I'll ever afford one are slim. *Sigh.* I've heard them running and they are SEX ON WHEELS. Made me go weak in the knees.
A closer car to my reality is the latest-generation Jaguar XK-R. I'd like a fully optioned coupe in metallic blue, and the supercharger pulley modification...but talking about that particular car with the mods puts it solidly into $100k+ territory--way out of range for now, but maybe not when I get older.
I guess I'll stick with my 67 MGB GT. (Not that I'm complaining.)
