sarah fisher had the pole and placed second at kentucky speedway a few years back, it is a lot about the equipment and the set up and the crew, you have to have a good combo of all of those to have wins. this is why you see all the teams with the money winning more, because they have the money to buy all of that. they say that milka is new to all of this and that road courses are her specialty, so we will see if she does any better this week at watkins glen.

I agree with you about that don'tno chick but fisher was there for a while and then lost her Ride for a few years maybe 3 or 4. I think the Duno lady will come around when they get to the road course part of there schedule. That is what type racing she came from.
Give them some time and then get rid of them if they get some top 5.

I agree that Milka is a really bad driver, but Sarah is okay. Yes, she does sometimes get in the way, but at least she has gotten the pole. Danica has come close to winning a race. She did lead some laps at Indy a couple years back. Sarah just needs some more time. As for Milka, she needs to get off the track.

Sarah Fisher had a 2nd at Homestead in 2001 and a 3rd at Kentucky in 2000. Ever since CART broke into IRL and Champ Series open wheel racing in the US has suffered. Fisher and Duno are filler in a series that has very few cars and very little competition.

IRL is full of terrible drivers!
Its called they get sponsorships and buy themselves a ride! If you don't drive for Ganassi, Penske or Andritti you have no business at an IRL event. Ok that is a bit too much, but you get my point!
ESPN did a great job outlining how the sponsorship money got (name eludes me) the guy who died at homested a few years ago.
IRL is not able to draw fresh talent. Na$car is sucking it all up! The money for teams and drivers isn't there unless you drive for one of the big three. Until the IRL can draw major sponsorships into the series your going to see these slow drivers getting lapped constantly!

The majority of the drivers in the IRL series are the cast offs who can't make it in the more competitive leagues. The IRL is trying to save their butts by getting recognizable drivers who can identify with the public and get some sponsor money. People will always see through that as long as you have whiners like Rahal running the show!

in both sera fisher and milkas case they are trieing to ride the trend of marketing led by danica, neither one should be on the track and i agree with the guy above thats said if you aren't agr penski or ganassi your a field filler,
just immagine if they wher united
penski, agr, ganassi, newman hass, forsyth, minardi, and aussie vinyards, all having a chance for a win on any given race, and only the best of the rest would make the field

It takes more than being a good driver to win races. You also need to be on a well funded team that puts out great racecars.
Put Fisher in TK's car, and I guarantee you she would win races.
