usually it means you think deeper and understand things that someone of a young age usually doesn't

My husband has been told that too. To me, it means you act older than you are and you like a lot of old school stuff. It could also means you know a lot more about life than another person who's older than you. Some people says it means you're very wise..

meaning that people think you have knowledge that most people don't .. obtained from some other source ...a prior life(s) ? ... with memory (and 'mental age' .. hence "old")
