If an animal approaches you out of nowhere and attacks you while you're taking a walk, I promise you'll be surprised. You'll also be surprised if your nice, well-behaved dog suddenly attacks you, am I right?
Be more specific.
Now, if an owner of a wild animal--such as those who insist on owning monkeys, large parrots (such as cockatoos), tarantulas, snakes, etc.--gets attacked, they SHOULDN'T be surprised... because that's what wild animals do.
I don't expect an animal to bite the crap outta me when I'm taking a stroll down the street nor do I expect my nice, well-behaved dog to attack me without warning. What I do expect, however, since I've owned both tarantulas and snakes... is to get bit at one time or another.

Because they think that "cute" wild animal won't mind if we tip-toe right past its home and there won't be a problem though the babies are a few feet away.
