Im 15 now and in a year i will be getting my first car. I am truly obsessed with cars. I see a car driving next to me i stare and imagine me driving it. My parents say i have to pay for some of it, which is understandable since i get so much other stuff. Can you reccommend a car for me...one that will be safe, sporty, and keeping the budget in mind. Also insurance costs. I get straight A's and we are with state farm so i will get a reduction. Please help me on this, all i think about is my first car.

I'd say a Nissan 240SX is a good car. Easily modified and VERY fun to drive (from what my friends say). Something newer like a Mini Cooper S has tons of safety technology, all the latest OBDII software and can cost as little as $13,000...pretty good for a used car thats FAST AS HECK and tons of fun to sling around back roads.

But it all depends on what you want. A Honda Civic Si is a good car, but well-known to insurance companies as a hotrod. Something pretty low-key is your best bet.

maybe iam being a old foggie here, but if you something to catch the girls with and be able to dress it up and have people stare at you and say WOW, then if you can find a good 1, get a 1957 chevy convertable, 327 hp. black with duel exhaust. the insurance should be cheap, but i dont know if it will be cheap, but it will be sporty, and safer then these cracker boxes today.

The Volkswagen beetle is right for you.

Safe, sporty, cheap. A new one only costs in the 20's.

A stock 240SX is a good choice. Responsive, peppy, reliable and fairly efficient and low maintenance. I would get a 91 or later with the KA24DE. What is your budget?
