Why can't i just downgrade the marriage to something else?

Question

Marriage to me has be traumatic...it’s like a bad evil word and I don't like having that label anymore.

Can I go see the judge and say..."look dude, I don't want a divorce because well, that sucks...but maybe a downgrade of some sort so I'm no longer married...that'd be greeeat"

Just like that.

Then I think I’d be happy...no more marriage label or silly rules.

I asked my wife for a divorce, like 50 times, she just says no

She is ok, I am ok, the spark is gone though.

Yeah, maybe a judge could issue a licence for an affair once a year or something. To both of them.

You mean come home when you want, stay out all night if you want, have sex with someone else if you want, have parties if you want, bring girls home if you want, walk around the house with nothing on if you want, belch and fart if you want. How does all that sound to you ? Sounds like a teenager to me but isn't that what they say about all men that inside every man there is a little boy just dying to get out.

legal seperation it is not a divorce but you can get it so that way you and her are not together
