Recently, I went to two of them (different restaurants) and got sick both times. HAS IT HAPPENED TO YOU?

I would say it's mostly because of bad food preparation, leftover food that might be put back (three days later)... people who don't wash their hands and touch the food and lastly.. people sneezing and spitting while talking.. I never go to buffets because of the rampant germs in the food..

hope you feel better soon...

I usually enjoy going to restaurants with a buffet and I've not had a bad experience with it. I would let them know if you got food poisoning so it won't happen to others. Feel better.

I go to buffets but I don't get sick. I think it's the places you go to that have raunchy food. Switch restaurants.

Maybe that's because some places leave the food out for hours, or because there are so many germs from other people in the restaurant.

i see a lot of people talking about germs but isnt that what the heating is for? Oh and besides...i've also had stomach problems but usually just from eating a lot. But then there could be many reasons. You could be not used to the food or something else.

Buffets are a breeding ground for germs. People cough and sneeze over the food and touch it with dirty hands.

I haven't had that problem. But food needs to be kept at the proper temperatures. I like to see shaved ice under and around bowls of foods that are meant to be cold, and the hot stuff kept in heated pans.
