I have been working with windows all my life and I'm perfectly content with it, I am not sure about Macs.

Yes and no..

Older macs and the RISC processors were much better at handling advanced graphics design. Now that Macs are using an x86 processor it goes down to the software. Mac includes better applications for graphics development, and the OS seems to handle this a little better (but this is generally true of the *nix OS's).

Bottom line is use what you are comfortable with. If you've used Windows, and your comfortable with it, then you might not like the switch.

Macs are better for art (graphics design) and music and publishing. They are usually 3 times as expensive as a comparable IBM compatible. Most businesses use Windows based computers even for presentations.

Now that you can run MS Excel on a Mac, there is no reason to own a PC anymore. That was the one thing i had a PC for. Now i'm in Mactopia all the time! Get one, you'll love it!

as bsmith said, it's the software that counts. both platforms will run the same software for this.

the most common tool for doing such shows in business is actually Powerpoint from MS Office, by using photoshop and illustrator for the actul graphics and powerpoint for the presentation you get the polished look people expect.

all these apps run on either platform.

I'm ignoring the eternal debate about platform quality overall.
Macos has fewer exploits, and fewer viruses, about the same as my Linux or *BSD systems. [ openBSD being the most secure operating system, ONE exploit in 10 years beats every other os ]
