Very bad idea, and demonstrates a woeful lack of knowledge on your part.
Ishmael was born of a slave woman, which makes him a slave as well. Who your daddy was has not mattered in any civilization that we know of. If mommy was a slave, and daddy was a free man, or a man of some importance, if he did not emancipate the child, then the child was still a slave, because mommy was. Ishmael and his descendants have ZERO inheritance rights. All that they have gained is by theft, and the ignorance of others that allowed them to have what they squatted on.
The Palestinian issue goes back to 1948. When Palestine was divided by the UN, and a land area was given to fledgling Israel, her Arab neighbors vowed that they would drive the new nation into the sea, and made war against Israel. The leaders of the attacking countries told the Arab people living in the area of what would become Israel to leave to get them out of harms way. They were promised that they would have their homes back, and more once Israel was destroyed. It didn't happen that way. Now we have the Palestinian issue, and no one is willing to admit to what happened that created the situation. The Palestinians have their own selves to blame, but are not willing to be honest enough to do so. I believe that "sore losers" might apply here. The Arabs that did stay, war or no war, are citizens of Israel, with the rights of any other citizen of Israel. Why do we not hear of such things, simple, it neither sells newspapers, and does not fit certain agendas of the media, and others who are in power.
Your idea has the odor of dead fish left in the sun to long, and lacks the knowledge of truth. Israel is the true victim here, not the Palestinians.
Jerusalem belongs to Israel, is the capital of Israel, and should be recognized as such. The best way to resolve the issues in the area is for the Arabs to honor Israel, become her #1 ally, give Israel all of the land promised in the Bible (Torah) to Israel, and stand up to anyone who might want to attack Israel as the defender of Israel against all aggressors. That would put all Arab countries in direct line for God to bless them, as they bless Abraham and his descendants, which is today all of Israel, and on a spiritual side, all Christians. Don't hoild your breath waiting for that to happen though. The statement of what the descendants of Ishmael will be like as found in the book of Genesis describes them very well.

Well, actually, because certain people did NOT continue to do what was done for decades actually made everything worse.
The whole Oslo peace process started in 1993 was done by people who broke away from the status quo. That lead to the PLO being rehabilitated and brought to power which, through a series of what some may label "inevitable events" lead to the current state of affairs in which an even more radical terrorist organization is in charge (that would be Hamas).
So, you say there must be a Palestinian state. But what kind of state? Who is in charge of this state? Hamas? Fatah? Is it a true democracy or would you be satisfied with a Islamic theocracy?
And secondly, you say that Jerusalem must be internationalized. For whatever reason? And you say that an international peacekeeping force must be stationed there? For whatever reason? You think they can do a better job of peacekeeping than the Israelis? You think they can assure peaceful access to all of the holy sites for all religions? (Oh wait, I forgot. Israel already does that.)

1) That was the original plan in 1947. Arabs rejected it & launched a war of anihilation against Israel. There are no mulligans in the real world.
2) There are no "Palestinians". It is a fiction created in the 1970's.
3) There is a "Palestinian" state. It is called Jordan. Jordan is more than 3/4 of mandatory Palestine. There are 21 Arab countries. a 22nd Arab country & 1 2nd "Palestinian" country will do nothing to advance peace.
4) Arabs have no interest in building a state, only in destroying 1 (Israel).
5) International "peacekeepers" are worthless in that part of the world.
The only solution is for Israel to relocate all Arabs to Jordan, Egypt or any other Arab countries.

you are terribly misinformed. there is no such thing as a Palestinian people. Look in any book prior to the 1950's you won't see any reference. Al Fateh is a terrorist organization started by Yasser Arafat - and they have people convinced that there is this Palestinian People. Palestinians are nothing more than Arabs. The truth is even if there is this state -- the Palestinians will not be happy until every single last Jew is DEAD. You are terribly deceived if you think that your plan will result in any peace at all. More people have died in war in that little piece of ground than in any other place in the world, and it isn't going to change. You are crazy if you think there's a solution other than that great battle of Armageddon - which is coming. The Valley of Armageddon is the Valley of Meggido -which is right where the dispute is happening now. Haven't you figured that out yet? You think this is bad, you wait till the Jews rebuild the Temple. The Dome of theRock is sitting right on top of the Temple Mount. You haven't seen bloodshed - promise. These people aren't going to get along. not now, not ever.

Palestinians do not want a state. It is a red herring to make the west think they are not terrorists. Hamas and Fatah have a mission of destroying Israel. If it was land, then the terrorism would stop after all the land give aways. Instead, they use the land to attack further into Israel.
Peace keeping is not the problem. Someone must win the war.

I agree!! But then I'm a godless feck that watches left-wing programs on LINK TV (television without borders). Some of those programs have the audacity to air programs where Israelis question the wisdom of the Six Day War in light of the 40 years of strife that have followed. If I'm not mistaken, former President Jimmy Carter proposes a similar plan in his latest book, "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid".

It would never work, the Palestinians would want more land
and now you have them sitting in your country and you want
to give a city to international religious factions. You would
be creating more war and fighting and not peace, simply
put you do not invite the terrorists into your home and
expect that they don't try and destroy you.

countless? Israel has not engaged in a conflict with Egypt in view that 1973. Israel has not engaged in a conflict with Jordan in view that 1967. Israel has not engaged in a conflict with Syria in view that 1973. Israel has not engaged in a conflict with Jordan in view that 1982 (the conflict in 2006 became with Hizbollah, not the Jordanian military). Israel's important source of conflict presently is between them and terrorist companies which incorporate Hamas. in case you are concerned listening to what Hamas easily says, you will see that they show a super number of hatred for Israel. yet you by some ability end that the topic concerns are by way of Jewish hatred of Arabs?

Imagine that someone moved onto your property. You wanted them out. Now apply your "plan" to that situation with you being Israel and the squatters being the Palestinians.
See the problem?
