Ok, this is a tough one for you disco fantaics. I am looking for a song sung by a female 76-79 era. It was a song I remember from the radio, so it had airplay. A couple of years ago I heard it sampled in a rap song.

It is not an obvious choice like Donna Summer, DIana Ross or Yvonne Elliman, though if I had to compare it sounds most like Yvonne Ellimanl,

Put on your best thinking caps and give me your best guess. I have tried for years to find the name and artist.

It was sampled in the song, Steal My Sunshine that was by Len and on the soundtrack to the movie Go!

Its not a rap song though.

Put in the lyrics (some of them) in google and put like...song and lots of things should come up and you will see the lyrics and see if it rings a bell.
