I found this in a roll of GW dollars today. What type of error is it?

BTW, I didn't use a flash to take the picture so that is not the cause of any reflection.

The dark area and the trails from it(the Lady Liberty side) suggest that it could be a slag inclusion planchet error, that happened during the striking process when metal impurities fell in between the planchet and die. The error looks authentic enough, but needs further examination by a dealer or numismatist upclose to confirm. Either one should be able to give you a value estimate or at least lead you to the right direction.

One of the photo's is out of focus and the other has a reflection from the flash so it is impossible to tell. I would give you the email address of an error specialist but he could not tell either with these photo's. They need to be better. Maybe someone else can guess for that is all one can do. Sorry.
