ok for you fools who didnt see the report how about looking it up.
Fact: O'Reilly claimed more than once that American troops were the perpetrators of the Malmedy Massacre when in fact they were the victims. That guy is a sick twisted “human” with zero scruples about twisting the truth to promote a republican agenda (wow big shock there).
I’m hopeful that some of you conservatives would search for the facts yourselves about Malmedy, and O’Reillys comments on it BEFORE you post unless you think you dont need to fact check and prove my point about not being willing to question news programs you enjoy watching.

Not only that, they were massacred by the Germans!
He has been corrected several times but repeats the same lie over and over!
"Upon sighting the trucks, the Panzer tanks opened fire and destroyed the lead vehicles. This brought the convoy to a halt while the deadly accurate tank fire continued. The outgunned Americans abandoned their vehicles and surrendered.
The captured U.S. soldiers were herded into a nearby field. An SS tank commander then ordered an SS private to shoot into the prisoners, setting off a wild killing spree as the SS opened fire with machine guns and pistols on the unarmed, terrified POWs.
Survivors were killed by a pistol shot to the head, in some cases by English speaking SS who walked among the victims asking if anyone was injured or needed help. Those who responded were shot. A total of 81 Americans were killed in the single worst atrocity against U.S. troops during World War II in Europe."
..
Mine detectors were used to locate the 81 bodies, which had rested undisturbed since the day of the shootings and by now had frozen into grotesque positions. Forty one of the bodies were found to have been shot in the head. As each body was uncovered it was numbered, as seen in the photo above.
While the U.S. medical teams performed this grim task, columns of German POWs being led by Americans passed by, with the bodies in plain view, however, no act of vengeance was taken.
Following the defeat of Nazi Germany, 74 former SS men, including Jochen Peiper and SS Gen. Sepp Dietrich, were tried by a U.S. Military Tribunal for War Crimes concerning the massacre."
All were found guilty!
Guess who tried to attack the court after the verdicts? Senator Joseph McCarthy!

Do you really think he is trying to get this wrong. Newsreporters get facts wrong all the time. I am sure he will apologize for it. Everytime I hear him he is very respectful of the troops.
What is certain. Olberman can't get over O Reilly. Evertime I see him he has is always talking about something Bill did. I bet he is soooo pleased to have caught him in a mistake ( not propaganda - do you really believe he is purposely trying to spread this lie).
I must admit Bill O can be arrogant. I guess your question/point is a valid one. But as a con I get tired of seeing everyone Bash any conservative media outlet. I would hate to be a conservative reporter and get something wrong.

I just ignore talk radio altogether, all they do is parrot what their side wants you believe.
Once in a while, they may throw a light insult at their own side to appear balanced, but that is just for show.
Ignore them, they are irrelevant.

When someone "reports" on a thousand different things they are going to be wrong once in a while. What is wrong about O'Rielly is that he rarely admits his mistakes; his arrogance is clear.
