Okay so i wear black rimmed glasses, and people say I look good with them. ( sorry if thats cocky in any way. im not ) but when i take my glasses off, its another story. My friend. ( ahem ) said I look like i have something missing from my face... Because my eyes are pretty big and I think there kind of far apart. This guy in my class said I look "weird" without them.
I never wore glasses until the last year, and that I know of, no one has ever "liked" me without them. This current year i got my glasses and i had at least 2 people have crushes on me.( their pretty hot too. haha )The only thing is.. Some people say im really pretty without them ( again sorry ) people have said; brooke shields in blue lagoon, and alexis bledel. Now. my two questions are.. Should I listen to the people who say im ugly without them? And any makeup tips for me to make my eyes look less..... big.
Sorry for the whole "sad" story. Just wanted to explain things.

I think it's mostly because people are use to seeing you with glasses on. When you're not wearing them the only thing missing is...YOUR GLASSES.
I have big eyes too and had issues with that forever. Eyeliner and mascara help with that a lot. You always read in beauty magazines what to do to make your eyes look bigger...I just do the opposite.
The other thing is that the older I've gotten the more I've appreciated the fact that I have big eyes. People now compliment me on the same thing I got picked on as a kid.
Easier said than done but don't worry about what other people think. Be how you want to be.

I think you should go with what you feel best in. Some people will like you with glasses as thats what there use to seeing. then you could go on vacation and never wear them and the people there who have never seen you would think you are just fine as thats the only way they have seen you.
as far as making your eyes look smaller . you would draw the eye liner on the inside of the eye on both the bottom and top it will be more defined and piercing but will make them look much smaller and narrower.

don't worry about what naysayers think; theyre probably just jealous anyways. Having large eyes is actually a great quality. if you look at models or celbrities; many of the ones people want to look like have exagerrated features (its childlike in appearance).
however, if you want them to look less large go light on mascara and liner.
"Wide set eyes can be brought closer together by shading close to the nose to draw the eyes closer together. Draw eyeliner close to the nose and into the tear duct area."

Try a using only mascara on your eyes, and make the emphasis your lips, possibly a pink or red color for summer. Everyone has a feature that they don't like, your not alone. Make the emphasis your lips. And, most people look worse in glasses. I look like a total dork in them. At least be glad you look good in glasses!

If they are saying that the dark rims make you look good, than take that to consideration and use darker eye makeup. A good liner and mascara to 'pop' out your eyes. Also, don't use color to match your eyes or clothes...use it to match your skin tones...I like the colors in 3 tones...lid and crease darker, lighter to the brow and a 3rd to blend them in... let me know how that works for ya!!

Omg your eyes sounds awsum and rather. :) And so does your eyeshadow. xP i could follow a shimmery eyeshadow, yet perchance swap up the colors, reason the shimmer brings out the shine and sparks. :) eco-friendly and blue could paintings good, or a honey brown colour.

wen my friend takes her glasses off it looks like something is missing from her face too cuz ur soo use to seeing her wit them on...they just have to adjust to seeing u with out glasses...and big eyes are beautifully--dont try to make them smaller, trust me -u dont wanna do that,---but mayb try eyeliner , cuz glasses frame the shape of ur eyes and soo does eyeliner--soo i think it would b a nice touch
