I feel that its a perfect example of stereotyping gender norms.
its fair to say that majority of REPORTED cases of domestic violence identify males as the aggressor however i would be interested to know the percentage of who is actually responsible for the reported / UNREPORTED cases of domestic violence.
I’m confident that even though figures from this type of review may still indicate males as a larger percentage of the whole it may also have shown a significant increase in the percentage of females as the perpetrator as well.
All this aside i feel quite strongly about the presence of violence in the family home and feel men must play a largely leadership type roll in curbing its acceptance in all cultures

Because the vast majority are - muscular men used to getting their way by punching, especially weaker people. There have been a number of TV shows about the problems faced by the reverse where women beat their men and usually their children and people assume it is the man.

Because the statistics show that Men who are abused by women, never report it.
I know it happens and you know it happens....it is just that they are far too frightened to step up and admit that they are getting abused, or it is a question of their masculinity...
Either way, I think a woman abusing a man...cause to me I think men are so masculine...l Love their smell!
It is disgusting and she should have her mouth silenced and if she wants someone to beat, give her another female who is also an abuser....that way they can beat each other!
Poor men, they just need love!

Because it is usually the men who do the abbusing. Men are also known more for thier tempers and stregth therfor the men are portraed as the bad guys. AND women are usually weaker and so they cannot hurt men with out a gun or an object that could be used as a weapon. but i have herd of men being beaten up or even killed my women. women have more power but do not use it as a sign of responsability and self control.

Probably due to the fact that there is more of a problem with men abusing women than visa-versa.
