No shots are needed for bunnies. A vet check is good to check the stool for parasites and the ears for mites. Also will make sure the teeth are growing correctly, and give you info on care and feeding, as well as the importance of spaying and neutering (to prevent aggression in both and cancer in females). Make sure you pick a vet experienced in rabbits--not all vets like to see them or know a lot about them.

Yea like everyone said, no real need to take a bunny to a vet I have one and He's never seen a vet. Just gotta make sure you keep the cage clean cuz they can get sick from the feces but thats about it and the whole spaying/neutering is a good idea , rabbits are aggressive and that really helps calm the aggression.

Shots for rabbits are not needed, but it is a good idea to take them to the vet at least yearly for a check up. Yearly check ups are a way to spot problems early. When you think about it a $100 yearly vet bill is not that bad compared to other pets(dogs/cats)

You will however have(should) get the rabbit spayed or neutered. Spaying will prevent a cancers later in life, and neutering of males will curb sexual aggression.

I would suggest that you take your bunny to the vet and get it shots for rabies. I wouldn't be good if you lost your beloved friend to a preventable illness.

um not really just make sure you don't let them stay in their feces the cage has to have mesh in the bottom I used to have 31 rabbits they are easy to maintain just make sure of this so the droppings can go down thru the mesh and be high enough it doesnt pile up.Just get a guide from the pet store we never gave any shots to ours.
