It is called polygamy. But usually it is based on religion not sex. Either way I believe it is cheating and going against your vows.
Open marriages are an oxymoron. You are either dedicating your life to one person or your not. Its not something you can deem okay just because your SO says so. Its still adultery.

Technically, the couple in question defines the parameters of their relationship within the confines of marriage. Some people have "open" relationships where they see other people and this is not "cheating" because both parties are aware of the arrangement and are presumably at peace with it. Cheating refers to a state of deception which in this case does not apply. Most people maintain a monogamous relationship; this is the "norm", but this is by no means a requirement.

What the hell kind of friends do you have ? What your saying is she wants to watch her husband have sex with another female and she join in . The whole thing is sick and yes it is cheating even if they both no about it,it's cheating the marriage out of being Innocent and good.

That is not only confused. That is messed up. Cheating is cheating and if she is in a relationship with someone other than her husband, then she is cheating. I don't get it, but you know, if it is OK with all three of them, I guess it is OK with me too.

not necessarily. there is such a thing as an open marriage, and so if all people involved are happy with that agreement, then it is not cheating. cheating implies dishonesty - but if everyone knows the arrangement and is prepared to accept the consequences of it, then it's not cheating.

In certain lifestyles a "second" is accepted as normal. She would be expected to be faithful to the couple she has agreed to be a part of. What ever is talked and agreed on is whats normal for those involved as long as no one gits physically hurt or does illegal activies. Why is this a problem to you?Is it not their life and their choice?.....George

I think she just wants an open relationship. It is cheating i guess, but i think she just accepts that since she does want a threesome relationship.

is her husband OK with this? i mean right now it may seem OK to him..but eventually it won't...i think if she loved him enough to marry him she shouldn't want this other chick...the friend the want to have a relationship with shouldn't have to be loyal to them shes not the married one.
