In the meantime, get a dvd player to make up for the missing vcr... he's just going through a midlife crisis due to how obsolete he's become at work. In fact, was the last movie your VCR played "American Beauty"?
And... use the calculator on your computer. Let the lovebirds go on their way, and you can pick up the pieces of your own broken heart and move on...

The VCR eloped with the toaster actually... after getting the calculator pregnant. Typical VCR.

I knew it! I told you when he started the restart stuff right after the blender dumped him that this was going to happen. Now you're going to have to set up that DVD player so she can watch her Veggie Tales or you'e never going to any of that produce to settle down. Just wait until she tells the grapes!
