Is Islam a wicked religion?

I know it maybe seem racist at first but who causes the worlds problems today???? I know not all Muslims are terrorists, but the fact is most terrorists are Muslims, as theres not too many hindi suicide bombers. Were dealing with an enemy who kill themselves to kill other people. And i notice theres not many clerics who blow themselves up they always seem to be young people dont they?

In a reply to one of my brothers posts, its always the poor that fight the wars for the rich. It always has been and it'll always be.

All religions are wicked. All have advocated violence and murder. All have advocated the suppression of women. All have committed atrocities throughout time. End of story.

I understand how you feel, but I will say that pretty much every religion has (negative) fanatics.

People have murdered abortion doctors because "they kill babies" - except, hello, they just killed someone. God doesn't want us to do that.

Or those religious cults you hear about where someone joins and they're never heard from again. Yeah, I think God wants you to keep in touch with your family.

Anyway, there's an idiot in every group, and thanks to the idiot it makes the whole group look bad. The Muslim religion to me, seems like a beautiful religion. So does the Mormon religion, the Jewish religion, the Catholic religion.

So don't lump the whole religion together with the nutjobs. I will acknowledge what you're saying by agreeing that yeah, most terrorists seem to be Muslim, and slaughtering others and themselves in the name of Allah. And yes, I don't believe I've noticed any clerics carrying explosives on their chest. They are ruining the beauty of their religion, but like I said, they aren't the only ones.

Islam is truly a religion of peace and respect for all mankind, but some how over the centuries, evil, inbred, primitive fanatics have deliberately mis-interpreted the teachings of the Koran for their own political agenda. Non Muslims have every right to criticize Islam due to the current events around the world. Moderate Muslims have been deftly silent on these events and so, we wonder if they silently condoned these actions.

All religion can be wicked when taken to the extreme and used to push personal objectives. Islam is no different. Pure Islam is a beautiful religion. Try reading the Koran to get a glimpse of the tenants of the Islamic faith.

Well, those who follow the Koran are the evil ones. Those who are peaceful Muslims are not following their faith.

You really should explore it yourself. Read the Koran, then find some people who have left Islam and ask them some questions. You will find out that Islam is ABSOLUTELY EVIL!

first of all hindi are not muslim. hindu(i think that's how it's spelled) is a totally different religion. but it's not. in the quran Jesues and Aberaham are phophets and there teachings are abided by. that's all i know without going on. that was a response from your neighbor hood athiest
