the mormon's secret beliefs, which they don't tell even their members till they've been around a while, are ridiculous. No comment on the other.

You will find the word edikate in your dictionary, any then you will know how to spell it.

Proper etiquette would be not to discuss religion or politics too for that matter. If it is a dinner or a cookout remember that some strict Jewish people require kosher food prepared in a strict kosher environment. So this is the only "glitch" in the get together so ask about the dinner plans and remember "There are 2 things you don't discuss" Religion and politics

There are many nuances to the basic beliefs of these and other religions. It would be difficult and lengthy to explain each of these three on here. You might research the web for information. However, religion should not be an issue between friends or even those you meet casually. If a question arises, simply ask them what is proper for their belief.

None of the males in the hot tub drop trou unil the first female goes nekkid. Don't stare at Mormon underwear, comment on Jewish tzitzit, or make fun of a Scientologist's sand grain.

2)That which ignores religion supports religion.
3)That which contradicts religion supports religion - test of faith!
4)Anybody who criticizes is thereby proven unqualified to comment - and must be destroyed lest god(s) take offense.

Don't make jokes about their leaders or famous celebs of that particular religion, even if you notice them doing it. It may be ok for them, but it will NEVER be ok for you to do that. Religion is an exquisitly sensitive topic best left alone as much as possible. Otherwise, be prepared to be made fun of and have you feelings hurt just for asking .

It is rude to ask the Mormon how many wives he has.
It is rude to ask the Jew why his people killed Christ.
It is rude to ask the Scientologist how much he paid to get into his church.
Now you know.
You really can not be expected to know every detail about every subdivision of these groups. If somebody is offended, that is their problem. You sound like a nice person, who would not intentionally hurt anybody. That should be good enough.

Maybe spelling correctly for starters. Also, I doubt you'd be capable of offending anyone judging by your question that makes no sense. They'd just chalk it up to your ignorance.

Hmmmm.

I would say just treat them like people. With respect. They tend to be forgiving if you don't quite understand something about their beliefs.

Mormons.

Mainly, don't make them feel uncomfortable by trying to make them feel comfortable.

Act normal to em like you would to any Christian, Atheist, Muslim, or whatever.
