Been in a moment, and wished it would last forever. I'm thinking this as I sit on my front porch, watching my kids play in the street below, with cousins and friends, riding skateboards and scooters, and bikes, in their bathing suits, having a great time, as Rocket Man plays on the radio, and the sun is peeking through the trees, ending this gorgeous day. How about you??

In my 59 years I have cherished many moments like you and then as my girls grew up I watched them go to the prom and cherished those moments and then when they graduated and became nurses I was so proud and content and those moments were cherished and now that they are grown with children of their own I cherish those moments watching them interact with their girls....what a complete circle, huh? My heart is full of those cherished moments and my memory still is full of them.......they go away all too soon.......cherish every moment!

At 57 I have had so many it is a good thing we will never have that wish come true. If it could come true, I would still be 14, staring into the eyes of the boy next door while he got his nerve up to hold my hand! I would have missed my children's and grandchildren's births and all the joy and pain that comes with having a big family. We came from a long line of loons, and we are proud of that fact. If I ran into that boy turned man today, I would ask him,"What were you thinking? I was up for some kisses, and you were too shy to make a move!"

It was the perfect day, my husband was trimming some bushes, my 12 yr old daughter was riding bikes with her friend and my 8 month old was playing on a blanket next to me when I was gardening.

That was a perfect Sunday and we try every week to make it that good. Peaceful and content and happy.

Yes. One time I was on vacation, and I was standing on a boardwalk overlooking the bay. I was eating a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone. It was night time, and all I could see was the red and green lights of the boats passing by. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it was the best...

Cherish it. You're kids will all too soon be grown up and gone.

Someday you'll sit down to Thanksgiving Dinner with a bunch of adults and realize, oh my gosh! These are my kids!

You sound like a great parent!

I can remember when my dog love was sick. I can remember the last couple of weeks he was still alive. I can remember spending time with Love and wishing he could just keep on living forever. Sadly Love soon passed away. : (
