Because I believe that Al Qaeda and Iraq are two separate entities. Sure, AQ is in Iraq - AQ is everywhere in my opinion.
I agree with above responder that London and many, many, many other countries want to exude acceptance, tolerance, diversity, etc. AQ knows this and wants to annihilate ANYONE and EVERYONE who is not of their beliefs.
Although I personally believe that we made a HUGE mistake invading Iraq (idiotic - we should have stepped back, listened to the chatter after 9/11 - we would have then been able to go after who we really needed to go after), I do believe we are doing a fantastic job keeping ourselves safe.
So basically, we're not being attacked cause we're not allowing it to happen. Believe me, if we were lax like the other countries, thousands upon thousands of car bombings and other terrorism would have exploded inside our borders.

We're not fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq. Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden were in Afghanistan. Iraq was Saddam Hussein, not Al Qaeda.

According to you, not Bush. al qaeda is not in one convenient location and terrorism exists in many different organizations. You make it sound like they are a band flying to a different gig every weekend.
We are in Iraq for several reasons:
1. Humanitarian - 10,000s of slaughtered Kurdish Iraqis. 100,000s of Shites in mass graves. etc....
2. Failure to disclose weapons programs the rest of the world thought he had or was actively pursuing.
Bush was trying to address the root cause of terrorism, lack of freedom caused by money hoarding Middle Eastern governments that leave their people with nothing other then the promise of 100 virgins and all you can eat lamb upon explosion.

You are a fool at best.
Even if we were not in Iraq they still would have attacked.
What did we do to deserve 911? We were not in Iraq then..
They still attacked. Stop siding with the terrorist in your flawed reasoning.
For the sake of humanity....WAKE UP!

Where is the proof that Al Qaeda bombed London. I didn't think they had the evidence yet to come to that conclusion.

Al Queda did not attack us anyway. We know who did it! The same ones who attacked London!
We are in an economic war. When this occurs, the enemy has to make us fearful of each other, divide each other, destroy each other, then the enemy comes in to take over.
The Supreme Court allows Segregation in a vote on June 28. The country will soon be divided. The poor are forced to pay outrageous fees for taxes and school loans. The rich get richer, and the poor hate them. (ex: P Hilton) Get the picture?

Britain has a more tolerant acceptance of Muslim fundamentalists . This tolerance is now costing them and eventually will affect us. Any so called religion that advocates the death and destruction of other opposing points of view should be removed by whatever force necessary. I prefer killing them all and let God sort it out.
