obviously, there`re all those treatments against acne:
Proactiv, Differin, etc.
But do they make your skin produce less oil?
Or do they just clear your pores, and you continue to produce the same amount of oil?

of course, treatments get rid of the oil temporarily. But is there any way to prevent your face from looking shiny? ( besides absorbing rice sheets or whatever. )
As in the form of cream.

As horribly as oily skin can be, it's going to keep that skin looking young as you age. All you can do is keep your face clean, at least twice a day, and use an oil free moisturizer and SUNSCREEN. Do not forget the SUNSCREEN. If you listen to me now, you'll be glad you did..and go all the way down your neck and chest with the sunscreen. Trust me.

Yes, Any wash soap, which has Salicylic acid in it, it removes the oil, and your skin feels sorta dry to the touch!

you still produce the same amount of oil. the only thing that can control your oil production is your hormones. maybe birth control??

showers usually help this situation. soap would speed this process and shampoo...shampoo is GREAT!
