no! Your car is seriously underpowered to be towing a caravan, even a microvan would put a huge strain on your engine, gearbox and clutch, not to mention anyone traveling behind you as you try to pull it up hills!

You need something with a bit of power to pull a caravan, I wouldn't consider anything small than a 2litre petrol or turbo diesel, even for a small caravan. If your serious you'll be looking at a 2.5

yeah no worries, you`ll just stress out loads of drivers on single lane roads, you really need a Turbo Diesel with some mid range torque, your looking for a 1.9 TDi or the likes or a min. 2ltr Petrol infront of you... . ;)

think about it your car has probably 100bhp and weighs 1000KG so your almost dividing your weight to output ratio by 2, you really need a bigger car, fully loaded trucks and tractors will fly past you, sorry but think this out ;)

Well it can, but your engine will be overloaded and it might heat up. Better have a 1.8 engine. Beside, watch out the gearbox and clutch, they might have their life span significantly reduced by such load.

You need to check it on the car-caravan compatibility checker at http://www.towsafe.co.uk/
