I just signed up for a new 2 yr. contract. I chose 1500 txt messages for 15 dollars a month. They told me my first month was going to be unlimited, but when I got the bill....it was like 200 dollars because they didnt give me unlimited!!! Im so0o0o00 mad!!! Me and my dad are going down to cingular on monday to hopefully straighten this out.....has this happend to anyone else? Did you get it resolved??

Yes it happened to me and I got it resolved. My daughter used to work for Cingular in Customer Service and you would not believe the discounts and free minutes she would give people just to keep their business. Just be nice to the person and I would suggest calling. You will get a call center and those employees are given the authority to credit whatever they decide they want to. Since this is a new contract, I would say you will get the whole thing removed if you haven't had any other issues with them. Good luck!

Yes this happened to me!!!!! I signed up for 2500 and they said the first month texting, and picture messaging would be unlimited and then i got billed for all my text. My bill was $500. I tried to straighten it out and they only took off some of the charges, I got that phone terminated immediately because i could see that it wasnt gonna work out

I would totally agree with kksay's advice. I would just add, for future, that anytime a company offers to "give" you something, even temporarily, that you insist that they note that on your copy of the contract and then make sure they sign it.
