Do I know the dude, or is it with a person I kinda know?
Well, if I knew the guy, I'd want to do something we share in common. I believe that dating should start off slow so stuff like rollerblading, hikes, put-putt golf, or something else simple. Then if we mesh ... go up a knotch ... maybe lunch, water world, amusement park, day time rock concert in mountains, race-car tracks. Next level (hey, they're lucky!) ah, dinner, movies, dancing, concerts/plays/special events.
If I don't know the person ... in a safe public place with an easy "Out". Then up the dating ladder.

A first date is always kind of touch and go. I think dinner out at a nice restaurant, maybe sit there awhile to find out more about one another...then if things go good, a second date doing something different.

a nice romantic dinner, a walk on the beach as the sun sets and gaze at the stars with the sounds of the waves breaking.

my idea of a perfect first date is to go to the movies and then to the park and see the ducks and then go have sex!lol
