I think about this often. Not just winning it, also if I earned it. I would invest in sensible investments. They would be businesses that offer a return frequently. I would live off some of the profits and pay all of the debts I currently have. The rest I would help people with. They would not know I was helping them. That way it would motivate them to help themselves. I don't like most charities, because they only give a small portion to the cause. I would feed the hungry so they could get their strength up, educate them, medicate them and show them how to fin for themselves. I would also, create a hospital type homeless shelter. With individual rooms, a kitchen, showers, an educational center, a medical center, etc. The residents would be required to help with meals, upkeep and maintenance. They would have a certain amount of time to get on their feet and go somewhere permanent. There would be help to those disabled and in finding employment. I would also rally for causes in this world.
I would set up charities for these causes that actually give it all to that cause. It's a big dream. I know. What good is life without dreams? These are the things that motivate us and others.

If i won a million dollars..the first thing I'd do is pay off my student loans, then leave the province where I live to live somewhere else, get my dad a nice place to live, put money in a trust fund for my 3 kids and what ever is left, build a nice home and live comfortably by investing or some other way to keep the income coming in.

I would get out of debt (student loans, parent loans), get myself a nice house, new hybrid car and save for retirement. I would try to help my bro buy a house and start an education plan for my sis.
