All a bit "fishy". Terrorists would do it differently. All a bit coincidental with Gordon Brown just becoming P.M.
An imitation of the U.S.A. put fear into the people, make the leaders look good, therefore justifying foreign policy, such as Iraq, and maybe Iran next?

Thankfully, the cars were found before anything could happen, albeit by chance.
It doesn't sound like the work of highly organised terrorists to me, though. Time should tell, as there must be plenty of forensic evidence and cctv coverage to help track down the would-be bombers.

I think someone was doing thier job to catch it before it went boom. Don't know what would have happened if it would have been in the States.
