The IOC dropped baseball as a medal sport after 2008 -- so it won't be included in the 2012 games. The sport (well, whatever international governing body represents it) can apply to be re-instated for the 2016 summer games.

Baseball WILL be included in the 2008 Summer Olympics, here's the official web site stating it:

well,baseball is obviously a sport that hasnt pread very well.USA,Canada,and Japan are the only countries i can think of that play baseball.it wudnt b fair if other countries had 2 enlist a team,but also had 2 find,train,and organize that team in only a year.

baseball is too internationally limited
only japan, usa, mexico, puerto rico, and other latin american countries are actually represented.....
so it shouldnt be in the olympics
