They have become highly adapted to be Marine Iguanas. That means they can hold their breat for a long time, they can survive swimming in cold, choppy water, they eat algae off of rocks underwater. They can maintain their body temperature in and out of cold water.

I believe nosoop is correct, and also from what i've learned, they also change their size according to the time of year and how plentiful their food is. this includes their organs and everything..really really neat i thought!
