I put the key in the ignition and there is nothing. I usually get the headlight, but it won't start when i push the button. I have tried everything. Any ideas.

Loose battery terminals.
Tighten the frame ground, battery neg, battery pos, starter solenoid.
Dead battery.
The battery positive cable goes to the starter solenoid.
With a large screw driver, touch both terminals of the solenoid at the same time (careful of sparks).
If the starter motor turns, the battery is OK.
Check the main fuse.
Could be bad ignition switch.
With a good battery and the key on, the main fuse terminal should have battery voltage (check with a test light).
If no, bad ignition switch.

Dead battery? Also check that the battery is connected, and not corroded.
