I have a blad hamster and i cant seem to get its hair to grpw back, i got it from petland and the firs week it got large, the 5 week or a month later it started loosing hair. the smae thing happened to its partner but the hair grew back now, i am to go on vacation and my mom works so much that she wont be able to take care of them so what can we do, my mom wants to get rid of them and i dont mind but i need to know where can i bring them, i need somewhere good because of the one loss of fur, plus im leaving in about 2 weeks, im only 17 and we have no money to have the vet fix them up.

Ah - you won't be able to get the fur to grow back yourself, that's tricky even for a vet to do!

Just go to the vets, small animals are not expensive. Or you could waste time mucking around with 'home remedies'.

Mites are the most common cause of hair loss in rodents. However I once had a hamster that went half bald and it wasn't mites - but I never went back to the vet after the mite treatment failed, which was dumb. Well, I was only 14. The hamster seemed happy enough, but he did only live to a year and a half old.

Probably somethings wrong with your hamster because normally hamster's hair will grow back in 3 weeks but your's didn't.. You should take your hamster to the vet right away.

give them to a responsible friend, neighbor,etc
