Should the BNP be banned?

I have read a little about this party, they seem very racist to me. They want to stop all immigration and even send back people of non-UK origin.

Surely this is a big problem and the solution is easy ban them and imprison the leaders. So why do you let these people say such hateful things?

We immigrants have built this country and it is now only fair we get to live here without such people creating trouble.

Many people in this country hate the BNP and what it stands for. However, we live in a democracy which allows people to speak freely within the boundaries of the law.
This is a very important fact of democratic life. If you outlawed the BNP it would not stop them from being racist, and would make them attractive to certain groups of people who would not obey the law and may take part in illegal activities.
it is therefore a good thing that the BNP are allowed to publish their material, we know what they are doing, and can keep an eye on them.

You know even a few years ago i would have agreed with you. I would never have dreamed of voting for the BNP. I am from Glasgow ( but i'm sure people from London might agree with me ) after todays events in my home city something really has to be done. If you want to see hateful things being said open your other eye , the mosques in this country preach hate , what do you think about that ? Or are we just supposed to turn a blind eye to it.

we don't ban them because we have a democratic right to be, that's why your here in the first place, you are acting like a tinpot fascist, no doubt like the tinpot leader, in the tinpot country you left. so now you been here a while your typical, now you want to run the country, and to be honest, if you come here and worked hard, as you probably did, and adopt our ways, i have no problem with you or your kind. but the ones coming now are freeloaders, never paid into the system, and want everything out. they wont even learn the language, and a simple thing like that costs us taxpayers money, printing everything in 10 different languages costs money.

BNP's ideology is to deport non whites and in particular muslims as they are threatening the society. The problem is they are a party that plays on your fear. Countries like France and the Netherlands enjoy the fact that they are a multicultural society. If you spend your entire life hating someone then you are very much a failure.
