I have always liked William Regal, and have always been disappointed at his lack of a push while his friends like Triple H and Steve Austin have made it to the top of the business. He reminds me of Dean Malenko in that sense. He's probably the best technical wrestler in the WWE today (which isn't saying all that much, but still).

He is like The Red Rooster Terry Taylor, where Vinnie has taken his loyalty and smacked him in the face with it so many times. Taylor ended up with a job in the company and Regal bounces between the ring and backstage work. A great technical wrestler who made his reputation in the old-school European style, he has deserved better, which could be said about much of the talent.

His "old school" grappling skills help remind us that many of these guys do have talent. I remember when most of the guys would wrestle like he does. High flying stunts and smash-mouth brawling can add fire to a match but it is boring if that is all that they do. His personality is good too but his character might be done too well. His "heel" is so realistic that many people actually hate him instead of remembering that he is just playing a part. Other guys like Edge can over-act their parts. Regal is one of the best guys they got.

Regal= most underrated man in pro wrestling..... I don't understand it either. Triple H usually can manage to get his friends to the top of the WWE. But Regal and Trip are good friends. Regal (not like Batista) actually deserves to be at the top. Why isn't he.
I also remember that Regal gave Jericho one of the best feuds of his career. "Care for a spot of pee?"...

Never really cared for him. He's so-so as a wrestler and his personality is awful.
