I used to have one. I made the whole thing using HTML but I had software, just never liked it. I can tell you anything you need to know about making a site. Try Yahoo Geocities and it's like 10 bucks a month for a domain, and 2000 gb of bandwidth, and also a gig of upload space.

Yes if you are intrested in this i would reccomend you use geocities it is a free yahoo server for websites , it also comes woth a program called (pageBuilderPro) and it is a very simple ad easy program to use.

I suggest using Dreamweaver by Adobe. It has tutorials that take you step by step.
