I wouldnt want either to happen ever but tornado to me.

Tornado. We never get tornados in Ireland, but in recent years there have been a few reported around the country. If a tornado hit our town it would be completely wiped out, as most of the buildings are medieval. Plus very few buildings here have cellars, so I guess the whole town would have to try & squeeze into the cellars of the local pubs. Actually, now that I think about it, that kinda sounds like a laugh, a tornado party!

Hurricane. I've been in both. Tornados usually hit and are gone. Hurricanes will stall over the top of you for days on end, and they dump massive amounts of rain..flooding is a given.

A hurricane is nothing compared to a tornado. You can get sucked up, it can push a straw through through a house's roof, and you only have about 10 minutes warning time. Take it from me, I've lived in Oklahoma and Florida.

A tornado causes way more destruction and can virtually come from nowhere. I've lived in florida my whole life and experienced countless hurricanes, they're really nothing but a little rain and wind.

well since i live in Oklahoma ive grown out of fearing tornadoes. so hurricanes would be scarier for me.

Tornadoes. They can strike anywhere in the US, without warning. At least with hurricanes, you have plenty of warning.
