Of course the Bush family and investor friends love high oil prices. So don't the Clintons. The sad thing is, Bush is President and Cheney the VP...they shouldn't be making a dime right now, on their miserable policies!

That does not make any sense. The oil companies make the same profit on a gallon of gas at three dollars as they die at one dollar. The additional cost of crude oil is what is being passed to the consumer. Cheaper gas prices would mean they would sell more gas and make more money.
Higher crude oil prices may make oil wells, previously too expensive to operate profitable again. In that respect, it might make the owners of those wells happy. So what?

Hey when the Oil Company makes .07 cents on the gallon and the government is making some times over a $1.00. Who are the real crooks?

I would assume it makes them and the shareholders very happy, yes. However does it make up for the times of low oil prices?

And the government ... they loathe them?
Here's an idea: cut the taxes on gas and open the market for competition. Oh wait ... that means we'd have to allow DRILLING!!!
