I prefer Charcoal.
It’s a lot more fun. Light the fire. And after the coals are burning red, rake the coals the way you need them and then put the grate on and cook. All in all, it’s much better. You can't go wrong with a Weber Kettle grill; you can do everything on it, from grilling quickly over direct heat or the low-and-slow of old-fashioned barbecue with smoke-chips and a water pan (i.e. a foil drip pan filled with water placed on the cooking grate over the hot coals)
The fact-of-the-matter is things taste better when cooked using charcoal.
