You can't be affraid of contact.......making a hit or getting hit. You need to go full speed all time. Making a halfway attempt to make a play will only get you hurt. You've got to be mentally tough as well, most of football is between the ears. If you are not sure about being out there then don't waste your time....you probably won't enjoy yourself. Practice hard and listen to your coaches.

Well, it takes a lot to play football. Dedication, toughness, (not just physical toughness but mental as well) courage, strength, quickness, football smarts, and you need to be a good teammate. It's hard to play with someone who you cant respect. Always be there for your teammates, and maybe do a little bit extra workouts, etc. If you are dedicated to it, you should be just fine. If you are thinking about going out for a team good luck!

The skills needed to play football are few but to accel at it u need to be courageous,have a high confidence level and natural talents like speed, and having nice size also helps quite a bit for leverage purposes.

football is the easiest sport in the world to play but one of the hardest to excel in id say the most important attributes would be will power, strength and speed
