Remember men can't read our minds and just because you told him once or twice about your birthday or any day doesn't mean he will remember. Have you ever caught your bf/husband just staring and ask what he was thinking and every time he would say he was thinking of nothing. Well that is the truth men don't have a lot on their minds as funny as that sounds.Being a woman we can't imagine that a man has nothing on their minds. What I'm saying here is,if you want him to remember something you better make sure you tell him two days before and circle it on a calender where he can see it everyday. If you don't tell him your hurt over his actions then he really doesn't no.If i were you i would tell him what he did hurt you really bad and buying himself a computer and not making up for his actions is bothering you .He might not like hearing this but he will not do it again.

Just think that He is a normal guy, because most men forget about it. You know, when I was married I had to remember my ex that it was my birthday! because He always forgot! Don't feel bad, if He apologized to you, means that He is really sorry and Loves you. Be worry for other kind of signs not this one, like cheating or doing something wrong. So forgive Him, and just hope that for your next birthday He won't forget. Good Luck and Love your man.

well, yes - you have every right to be upset and hurt....he forgot a very special day and that's indicative of how much he thinks about you. it was probably just him being forgetful so i wouldn't get TOOOO upset over it. but i would definitely be honest and let him know that it really hurt your feelings. um, honey, most men would be begging forgiveness and trying as hard as possible to get out of the dog house. ALL men know it's a cardinal sin to forget a b'day. so if your guy is acting like it's no big deal then HE obviously has all the power in your r'ship.

Been married for 14 years and husband forgets birthdays all the time.. its not a big deal.. sure it hurts a little, but usually a good man will make up for it. A nice dinner out, or a nice date night. Flowers help too. I forget things too.

It does not show much thoughtfulness on his part. I would expect a boyfriend to remember! This may not be a *major* warning sign, but, it is a sign. People can really forget, give him a pass on this - but, it should not happen again! He should do something extra nice for you to make up for it!

No, I wouldn't worry too much about it if he is good about other things in your lives.
Everyone forgets things sometimes, unfortunately people ge hurt when its a birthday.
He'll have a lot of making-up to do now. So get prepared for those big pressies. :)

That was an asshole-ly move on his part. This happened to me and it was pretty much the end of an era for us. Even though I wanted to keep things together he didn't want to. Sorry but this might be happening to you.

one year, means you mighta had one birthday with him already, so no don't blame him guys forget these things. try not to let it get to you cause there are far worse things like forgetting a wedding aniversary!

I would be hurt, but you probably shouldn't worry too much. Blokes just don't remember dates unless you remind them, it's just the way they are.
