okay well i have cingular and i have enough money to buy a sidekick but like can u put your cingular sim card in it and will it work? plz help me out here. thankss

Sidekicks only work on T-Mobile network. Each cell phone carrier has phones that are locked onto their own network brand.
The only way that you can use a Sidekick on Cingular network is to purchase a sidekick that is "unlocked GSM phone." Unlocked phones means it can be used with any other GSM carrier like Cingular, T-Mobile and or Nextel. Once you have this phone that is unlocked, you can put your sim card into the back of the phone and the phone will work as normal.
You can purchase unlocked phones on Ebay.

hmm i dont think so i think u need to be on t-mobile i mean u can always switch but u wait till july 10th or w.e it is to get ur sidekick. i want a sidekick to but im verizon and i have to wait til my plan is over to switch to t-mobile to get it. and are u getting a sidekick 3 because i heard the sidekick 4 is coming out but not for a while now

u can get it unlocked but then the IM wont work

thats wat i want 2.... but all of the tmobile fones are unlocked if u sumhow get it unlocked, then u will not have im on ur fone.
